Dictapicto is an application that translates spoken language into visual information in real time, delivered in a distributed manner.

The goal of the app is to improve access to information and facilitate understanding of the surrounding environment without family, neighbors, or others being aware that the user employs augmentative and alternative communication systems.

Originally conceived for individuals with autism, the design aims to anticipate and sequence daily activities flexibly across different scenarios, supporting user participation and interaction with the environment.

Additionally, it is presented as a straightforward, practical tool for quickly preparing basic materials, such as routines or simple social stories, to support everyday functioning.
